Charlotte Turner is the Founder and Director of Bean Research, an independent consultancy specialising in evaluation, learning and social value. For the last 30 years, Charlotte has been designing and delivering evaluation and social value measurement with charities, funders, government bodies and business, using evidence and SROI to get under the skin of what drives value for people and places, to inform better practice and deeper social impact as a result. She founded Bean Research in 2012, after Director roles at Business in the Community and Ipsos.

Charlotte is an Advanced Social Value Practitioner, sits on the UK Evaluation Taskforce’s ETAP (Evaluation & Trial Advice Panel) advising government departments on evaluation, and on the Integrity Advisory Board of the Institute of Social Value. She is also a trustee of the UK Evaluation Society & teaches social impact and value at Cranfield School of Management as part of its MSc Sustainability programme.

She is a Life Fellow of the RSA, a mother of two young adults, and the daughter of two lively 90somethings.
