Profile
I help organisations turn human rights, social value and sustainability commitments into procurement decisions that actually hold up, across the whole supply chain, from supplier selection and contracting through to delivery and audit.
Right now that means two things. In local government, I am building a public sector procurement function from the ground up, embedding sustainable procurement and social value into how a council spends its money. Alongside that, I advise independently on human rights due diligence, modern slavery and conflict affected area risk, drawing on frameworks including the UNGPs, OECD guidelines, CSDDD, EUFLR and EUDR.
That combination exists because I care about the same thing in both places: making sure due diligence and ethical commitments translate into something real, not just policy on paper. Increasingly, that means looking beyond sourcing to how goods actually move, including the logistics and operational risks closer to home that are often overlooked.
