ISV individual membership is for people who want to strengthen their practice, develop their knowledge, connect with others working in social value and contribute to the future of the profession.
Whether you are established in your career, just starting out, studying, or recognised as an experienced leader in the field, there is a membership option designed for you.
What you get as an ISV member
All individual members receive access to:

- Access to a member only area on our website, including guidance materials, practice and leadership resources, professional standards, policy briefings, reports and member perspectives.
- Around 10 free Member Connect webinars each year, featuring member case studies, evidence, learning and opportunities to exchange ideas.
- 25% discount on ISV training, our annual conference and other events.
- Opportunities to showcase your work, research and good practice through our bulletin, blog, LinkedIn, resources, webinars and events.

Full Individual Member
£150 + VAT per year
For social value practitioners, professionals, academics, decision-makers and change-makers.
Full membership is for people actively involved in social value who want to deepen their knowledge, grow their professional network, access member resources and contribute to the development of the field.
Includes all individual member benefits.
Early Career Member
£80 + VAT per year
For people in the first two years of their social value career.
Early Career Membership is designed for professionals with 0–2 years’ experience who want to build their knowledge, confidence and connections as they develop their career in social value.
This membership is available for a maximum of two years.

Student Member
£50 + VAT per year
For students with an interest in social value.
Student Membership gives people in full- or part-time study an opportunity to connect with the social value profession, develop their understanding and access resources and events that can support their learning and future career.
Applicants must be studying for a minimum of 20 hours per week (proof of student status required).
Includes all individual member benefits.
Fellowship Member
£200 + VAT per year
For experienced social value practitioners, professionals and academics with demonstrable expertise and peer recognition.
ISV Fellowship recognises people who have developed significant experience and standing within the social value field.
Fellowship is subject to assessment through an annual evidence-based application process. Applicants must already be existing Full Individual Members before applying.
Fellows receive all individual member benefits, plus:
- The right to use FISV postnominals.
- A Fellowship digital badge recognising your professional standing.
- Invitations to special Fellows’ roundtables, events and workshops.
- Proactive opportunities to share your expertise and contribute to ISV’s work, including developing resources and training content, speaking at events, supporting research and pilots, and contributing to thought leadership.
