Blog Submission Guidelines
We welcome blog contributions from ISV members. Whether you would like to share your expertise, explore an industry issue, highlight good practice or reflect on your own experiences, we would love to hear from you.
Before submitting your blog, please keep the following in mind:
-
Keep it relevant: Your article should be of interest and value to ISV members and the wider community.
-
Aim for 600–1,200 words: This is a guide rather than a strict limit – the most important thing is that your article is clear and engaging.
-
Write for a broad audience: Keep language accessible, avoid unnecessary jargon and explain specialist terms where appropriate.
-
Share insight, not a sales pitch: You are welcome to reference your organisation, work, products or services where relevant, but articles should primarily inform, inspire or encourage discussion.
-
Credit your sources: Please acknowledge quotations, statistics, research and other material you reference, including links where possible.
-
Only use content you have permission to share: This includes photographs, graphics and other copyrighted material. Please also avoid sharing confidential or sensitive information.
-
Keep it professional and respectful: Contributions should be constructive and suitable for publication to a professional audience.
-
Tell us if it has been published elsewhere: We’re happy to consider previously published or adapted content; just let us know when you submit it.
What happens next?
Our team will review your submission before publication. We may make minor edits for spelling, grammar, clarity, length, formatting and consistency with ISV’s website style. If we think more substantial changes would help, we will discuss these with you.
Submission does not guarantee publication and ISV reserves the right to decide whether and when a contribution is published.
Any views expressed in member blogs are those of the individual author and do not necessarily represent the views of ISV.
